Arabic is one of the subjects taught in Islamic junior high schools. And Arabic is also a field of language study that has a fairly high level of difficulty for non-Arabic speakers, students often feel bored in class when learning takes place. So teachers are required to master various learning methods that can make students more enthusiastic in participating in Arabic language learning, especially speaking skills. Because language skills are the goal of learning Arabic, and speaking skills have a very close relationship with language skills. So that students do not get bored with one method, teachers can use the Eclectic method, namely combining several harmonious learning methods. This study aims to describe the effect of the eclectic method in learning Arabic on speaking skills at the Mirqotul Ulum Probolinggo Junior High School. This study is a quantitative study with data collection methods using observation, interviews, pretest-posttest questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that the Eclectic Method in learning Arabic at the Junior High School can increase students' enthusiasm in learning
