Abstract

Students' numeracy literacy skills remain relatively low, particularly in the topic of Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SLETV). In addition, mathematics instruction has not been adequately supported by interactive digital learning media that integrate Islamic values. This study aimed to develop a Google Sites-based digital learning medium with an Islamic integration approach for the SLETV topic that is valid, practical, and effective in improving the numeracy literacy skills of eighth-grade students at SMP N 2 Mejobo. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research participants included two expert validators, one mathematics teacher, and eighth-grade students of SMP N 2 Mejobo. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and tests, and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods through validity, practicality, and effectiveness assessments, followed by an independent-samples t-test. The results indicated that the developed digital learning medium met the validity criteria, with a construct validity score of 1.00 (very high) and a content validity score of 0.87 (high). The practicality assessment showed a score of 89% based on the teacher's responses (very practical) and 72% based on the students' responses (practical). The effectiveness test revealed that the calculated t-value (t = 3.0383) exceeded the critical t-value (t = 1.671), indicating that students who learned using the Google Sites-based digital learning medium with an Islamic integration approach achieved significantly higher numeracy literacy skills than those who received conventional instruction. Therefore, the developed digital learning medium was considered valid, practical, and effective and can serve as an alternative mathematics learning medium to enhance students' numeracy literacy skills.
