These learning difficulties then become obstacles that students realize and do not realize. In the process of implementing learning at MTs Al Azhar Samarinda, students with different educational backgrounds are found. There are students who come from general elementary schools and there are students who previously attended Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT). This study aims to analyze the causes of learning difficulties in Arabic and is expected to be a solution in overcoming the learning difficulties of class VIII students at MTs al Azhar Samarinda. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data acquisition techniques of observation, interview, and literature study. The results of the study state that there are two factors that cause learning difficulties. Factors that cause learning difficulties are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors originating from students include the cognitive domain, affective domain, and psychomotor domain. Banyak kasus menunjukkan bahwa orang sering gagal melihat tantangan sebagai peluang. Dalam Islam, Allah SWT telah memperingatkan bahwa hidup akan termasuk ujian, seperti bencana, godaan, kesulitan, dan hukuman. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengembangkan adversity quotient dari perspektif pendidikan Islam untuk membangun ketahanan psikologis umat Muslim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memahami konsep adversity quotient dalam kerangka pendidikan Islam; dan (2) memahami adversity quotient dalam kisah Nabi Nuh dan Nabi Ibrahim dari perspektif pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data untuk studi ini mencakup dokumen, buku, dan jurnal relevan dengan topik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) konsep adversity quotient dalam pendidikan Islam merujuk pada kemampuan individu untuk menghadapi kesulitan, mengamati, dan mengubahnya menjadi peluang. Dalam pendidikan Islam, kemampuan ini dikembangkan melalui penguatan pikiran dan hati, kesejahteraan spiritual dan fisik, serta etika. Ini diwujudkan dalam nilai-nilai pendidikan seperti kesabaran, ketahanan, ambisi, dan pengorbanan; dan (2) Adversity quotient dalam kisah Nabi Nuh mencakup enam nilai pendidikan: kesabaran, optimisme, ketekunan, ketahanan, kemurahan hati, jihad, dan pengorbanan. The research subjects amounted to 17 children aged 4-5 years in Group A at RA Muslimat NU 21 Malang school. The data analysis of this study is a descriptive statistical test to find the mean, and use the Kolmogorov-smirnov normality test, then test the hypothesis using the t-test. The results of this study show that the application of flash card media is very important to introduce letters. During the experimental process, the researcher together with the teacher organized the learning skillfully in the application of flash card media. First, the introduction of letters to children through the designation of letters on the card. At this stage, researchers do a lot of introducing letter symbols to children by showing pictures of letters as listed in flash cards, one by one slowly. Then make a game with flash card media. At this stage, researchers make games with students in a group. After the application of flash card media, the average score was 63.76 and categorized as very high at 88%. Posttest inferential statistical analysis obtained tcount (12.48) ˃<sub> ttable</sub> (1.745) at 0.05. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka, mengumpulkan dan menganalisis sumber-sumber terpercaya mengenai pendekatan pendidikan masing-masing negara. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun negara ketiga memiliki prinsip yang berbeda—Finlandia menekankan aksesibilitas dan kesetaraan, Jepang fokus pada disiplin dan pengembangan karakter, dan Indonesia mengutamakan pengembangan keterampilan hidup—semuanya berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip dari sistem pendidikan lain dapat membantu reformasi pendidikan di Indonesia.
